Επιτροπή Συντονισμού των Συντονισμένων Περιφερειακών Αεροδρομίων
A Committee is constituted and set up under the name of the “Coordination Committee of the 14 Regional Airports.”
The object of the Committee is to be the Coordination Committee in accordance with Article 8 of the European Regulation.
The Committee shall assist the Coordinator or any other competent State authority under tis consultative capacity and, in particular, it shall make proposals concerning or advise on:
- Possibilities for increasing the capacity of Coordinated Airports in accordance with Article 3 of the Regulation or for improving its usage
- Improvements to traffic conditions prevailing at Coordinated Airports
- Coordination parameters to be determined in accordance with Article 6 of the Regulation
- Methods of monitoring the use of allocated slots
- Local guidelines for the allocation of slots or the monitoring of the use of allocated slots
- Serious problems for new entrants as provided for in Article 10(9) of the Regulation
- All questions relating to the capacity of coordinated airports
The Committee shall mediate between the parties concerned on complaints on the allocation of slots, as provided for in Article 11 of the European Regulation.
In performing its functions, the Committee shall deliver its decisions in accordance with and in view of the current legislation and the relevant regulatory framework, including the European Regulation, and taking into consideration the IATA WSG Worldwide Slot Guidelines.
