Burger King enters the Greek market through the Fraport Greece airports
Leading multinational group SSP chooses Fraport Greece for the first Burger King in Greece
Within the context of upgrading the 14 airports, one of Fraport Greece's strategic priorities is to also attract more Greek as well as internationally recognized brands, offering a larger selection of choice to the passengers.
Leading multinational SSP and Fraport Greece, have joined forces and brought the famous Burger King chain to the Greek market by opening the first store at the “Diagoras” Airport in Rhodes.
During the opening ceremony held on August 6th, Mr. George Antoniou, Managing Director at SSP Eastern Europe & Middle East, said:
"We are particularly pleased to inaugurate the first Burger King in Greece, which, in cooperation with Fraport Greece, opens its doors at the “Diagoras” International Airport in Rhodes. I would also like to point out that we are discussing with Fraport Greece the possibility of further development of the Burger King activity at other airports in Greece. "

Fraport Greece's cooperation with the SSP started a year ago and includes Starbucks at Rhodes airport as well as the renowned Uppercrust brand at the airports of Corfu and Zakynthos.
