Fraport Greece: Announcement regarding flight OA 250 from Athens to Mytilene

Today, Tuesday, April 1, 2025, Mitilini Airport "Odysseas Elytis" was notified that Olympic Air flight OA 250, operating on the Athens–Mytilene route, reported a fire indication in one of its engines during landing. However, no actual fire was detected.

The airport's emergency response plan was immediately activated, and all safety protocols were strictly followed. The procedure was carried out efficiently and on time, ensuring the safe disembarkation of all passengers.

All airport operations are back to normal, with no impact on scheduled activities.
